U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 1998.NSTAR emissions calculated from NSTAR load and NSTAR default service power sources: coal (10% of toal, 14.05 lbs CO2/kbtu), natural gas (25%, 7.89 lbs/kbtu), residual oil (19%, 11.7 lbs/kbtu).
